Formative Evaluation

(1992 – 1993)

Discovery House provides safe shelter and professional support to abused women and their children.  The formative evaluation process was based on a variety of individual, small group and large group meetings with staff as well as a thorough literature review.  The evaluation culminated in a document that described the agency, its processes, and proposed measurement instruments, methodology and systems to be used in the subsequent summative evaluation component.
