Evaluation of the SeniorConnect Program

(October 2005 – February 2005)

The SeniorConnect program of the Calgary Seniors’ Resource Society seeks to build community’s capacity to care about its senior members by strengthening collaboration between individuals, services providers and businesses at both the local and regional levels.  The evaluation assessed program services including public awareness campaigns, educational workshops and outreach to seniors using interviews with key informants, service usage analyses and identification of key program successes and challenges.  The results of the evaluation will be used to assist in program development and ensure on-going accountability to program funding sources.
