Domestic Violence Environmental Scan

(April 2016 – April 2017)

The project is an environment scan that helped identify the current programs, services, awareness, gaps and future needs as they relate to domestic violence within the City of Airdrie.  A SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis developed through community consultation was the primary framework for this project. Information was gathered using focus groups with service providers, discussions with the representatives of the City of Airdrie and an on-line survey of community residents. The final report will provide recommendations for domestic violence programming in the City of Airdrie.
